Lanre Idewu is both an actor and personal trainer, and those disciplines have intertwined in interesting ways: he has coached several celebs, modeled for the P90X fitness program, and appeared on The Biggest Loser. Idewu combined his talents with real-estate maven Chasity Clark to found Destination Fit4LA, which aims to motivate others to pursue holistic wellness in a supportive, noncompetitive setting.

The VIP resort occupies three luxurious mansions in Hollywood Hills. Upon arrival, you’ll participate in an in-depth assessment that includes a state-of-the-art BMI screening and a personality test to identify your personal fitness goals. You’ll then be paired with the ideal Fitness Success Team, which consists of a nutritionist, a counselor, a massage therapist, and a personal trainer. They’ll work together to create a custom wellness plan for you.

Each morning begins with a beach boot camp followed by roughly five hours of training that may include yoga, Zumba, or boxing. You can also immerse yourself in the gorgeous natural setting by going kayaking or mountain climbing. Throughout the day, skilled chefs and nutritionists keep you fueled up with six healthful meals.

When you’re ready to cool off, swim laps in the 80-foot outdoor pool. Or head to the billiards room with a modernistic fireplace.
